As the "locations and insurance" assignment progressed this week, what considerations were at the front of your mind? What wheels were turning?

This week was fairly simple. Except finding an insurance broker that would just send me an emailed quote. They all want my personal cell to call and then sell me on insurance. I didn't follow through with giving our my personal cell... I already get enough robo calls as it is. I wasn't about to give out my cell to another company just to call me over and over. Alas, I found two companies that I could request a written quote only, but I don't have much hope for them returning the quote without wanting me on the phone. We shall see how this goes. It will be a learning opportunity for sure haha.

Other than that, this was a straight forward assignment. I basically spent time inputting information already gathered in previous assignments throughout the semester.

  1. Hmm. Not a big fan of robo calls either. Maybe you could set up a Google Voice and give them that number. I may do that when I make my calls on Monday!

  3. This is interesting. I wonder why such the run around? I really thought that Entertainment Insurance may have been sold by Progressive...All State....State Farm...I was wild surprised when Insurance Canopy, K&K Event Insurance, and others popped up. I'm going to be calling tomorrow so thank you for the heads up.

  4. The simpler work this week has been a nice change from everything else going on in our classes.
